Lemon Lime first started out with a different name. I opened a personal site after having a fansite, and was hosted on a site that no longer exists, no-promises.net. I opened it originally as a blog and content site, although it did not have much content. Or many blogs, actually, because I ended up closing it soon. I do remember that I had a tutorial on how to make iPod graphics in Photoshop! The ones with the neon backgrounds and silhouettes of people?

The Name

As I mentioned before, the personal site/blog I had before was not named Lemon Lime. The name was very different from ‘Lemon Lime’. After a while, I got bored of the name, and I decided that I wanted to rename/reopen the site. I didn’t know what to call it, and I looked at different places for names. Then, somehow, I liked the word ‘lime’, because I just….liked it. I didn’t know what to put with it, though, and I couldn’t just call my personal site ‘lime’. Lemon Lime came up, and it seemed to fit, even though it is also a name for juice. I decided to use it, made the site!
